Red Fruits Day

The SAOAS group is organizing an information day about "The Role of Integrated Pest Management in Red Berry Diseases and Pests".

The SAOAS group organized on Thursday, September 04, 2014 in its auxiliary insect production station in Chtouka Aït Baha an information day on "The role of integrated pest management in diseases and pests of red fruits".
The event, initiated by the welcome speech of Mr. Ali El Ouafi, Deputy Director of the SAOAS group, was attended by about fifty professionals, mainly managers, technicians and large production unit of red fruits leaders from the region of Souss, and also of Gharb.

At the beginning, the participants were able to discover, through Mr. Rachid El Aini the head manager of integrated pest control department, the history of the production unit as well as the whole range of auxiliaries produced.

The meeting was opened by Mr. Lhoussaine Bouhmane presentation, technical adviser IPM, on the use of the auxiliary insects for the control of the principal pests of the red fruits. Then Mr. El Alaoui M Amin, Development Manager of the SAOAS group, updated the range of phytosanitary products authorized on these crops and respecting its auxiliary fauna. As for Mr. Haydar Ghulam, Production Manager at BCP Certis, he shared his European experience by reveling the integrity of the methods used to fight against various diseases and pests of red fruits.

Impressed by the quality of the explanations and recommendations provided, the guests congratulated the SAOAS group for its contribution in the support and sustainable development of Moroccan agriculture.
