Bio-control (ABIM)

The SAOAS Group present at the annual meeting of Bio-control manufacturers (ABIM) in Basel, Switzerland.
The SAOAS group took part in the 11th annual meeting of the Bio-control industry (ABIM) which took place between 24th and 26th October 2016 in Basel, Switzerland.

This international event is an essential event for interested stakeholders in biological control, bio-pesticides, biofertilizers and other solutions compatible with green agriculture.

The SAOAS group, which is the only exhibitor from the Arab world and the African continent, was represented by its Director General Mr. Ali ELOUAFI, the Director of the Department of Integrated Pest Management Mr. ELAINI Rachid and the Director of Almassiragri Mr. Ahmed HDID. It was an opportunity for the group to focus on its range of auxiliaries produced in Morocco which was presented in a stall of 24 m². The SAOAS group has also presented its sales network in Morocco and its reputation and experience developed over 40 years.

ABIM is the world's largest gathering of the bio-control industry. It is internationally recognized as the global platform for networking, discovering industry innovations, exploring market opportunities, and discovering the latest expansions in research. The ABIM is also an opportunity for professionals to be in contact with the regulatory authorities to discuss the specific needs of the bio-control industry to promote it and help it prosper.

Over the three days of the 11th conference, more than 898 delegates from 48 countries representing 426 companies and organizations from around the world were present and exchanged experiences and information on the latest products and developments in the global marketplace. The scientific program with 8 sessions and 29 presentations covered the most recent developments related to market development, regulatory affairs and new products for plant protection. The exhibition was at the heart of the conference, giving 59 companies excellent visitor visibility.
