SAGUNTO DAY in BENI MELLAL

On Tuesday, July 24th in Beni Mellal, the company SAOAS in collaboration with FITO, its supplier of seeds, organized a day of introduction of Sagunto the new variety of C.

The meeting was attended by a hundred farmers mainly maize producers in the region and others from the area of ​​Agadir. The event began with a visit of the exploitation of Mr El Jabiri, who installed sagunto on the 04/04/2018 and is ready for the harvest, this visit surprised the guests by the height of the plant, its vigor and the length of the ears. The meeting was initiated by the opening speech of Mr. Faycal ELHoussaini, SAOAS group sales manager.

Subsequently, a presentation by Mr Georgios of the FITO company relating its history and activities around the world as well as the sagunto variety, its characteristics and its advantages. In a final presentation, Mr. Bellouch Omar sales representative SAOAS presented some videos interviews with farmers who cultivated Sagunto and who gave very good appreciations on this variety by these efficient yields and its nutritional quality.

This day was closed by a debate led by Mr Fayçal El Houssaini and Mr Ibrahim El Ouafi after which everyone was convinced that this powerful variety can only improve the income of the farmer, and provide a quality food to livestock.
