NOVAGIB AND EXILIS DEVELOPMENT DAY

As part of the knowledge update policy of Moroccan farmers, the SAOAS group organized, Wednesday, February 11th, 2015 in Meknes, in collaboration with the UK company FINE Agrochimicals limited, an awareness day about regulators of growth importance on the quality and yield of pomace rosacea.

The meeting was opened by the welcome speech of Mr. Ibrahim El Ouafi, research and development department director in the SAOAS group, to the attendance composed by nearly sixty professionals and actors in the field of the production of rosacea with seeds coming from Midelt, Azrou, Imouzzer, Fes-Saïss and Meknes.

The FINE company representatives as well as Mr. Caïdi Abderrahim engineer in charge of development in the SAOAS group gave to the participants all the information necessary for the good use of the growth regulators that are NOVAGIB and EXILIS.

NOVAGIB is based on gibberellins A4 and A7 with the purest A4 hormone on the market, it allows:

- Good stimulation of root elongation and cell enlargement;
- Action against some effects of auxines;
- To increase fruiting and fruit quality;
- To have a positive effect on the fruits epidermis quality for better prevention against roughness and bursting;
- A decrease in the return to flowers.

EXILIS is a product based on 6-benzyladenine which is a cytokinin recommended to get rid of excessive fruiting and consequently the tree load regulation, the fruits size and the weight increase and to avoid the problem of production alternation.

This event was a real opportunity to exchange information and experiences in the field of growth regulators, whose meets Moroccan conditions, and which ensure good quality production while reducing the exorbitant cost manual thinning.
